The Sorensen Classic Oil Yacht Lamp is a gorgeous Dutch-made lamp with a compass motif etching on the glass globe. This lamp has been in storage and never been used/burnt. Needless to say, it's in immaculate condition. It's truly a stunning lamp and will enhance any wall or boat cabin. These quality lamps are gimballed, coping even the roughest of seas. It is collectible, individually numbered, solid brass and hand-lacquered, requiring no polishing. The lamp rests in a four-way gimbal, and the 5 inch handmade acid-frosted compass globe is securely fastened with a clip-on spring in stainless steel. E.S. Sorensen is a Danish company and they produce a fine collection of high quality handmade oil lamps and these particular lamps retail for well over $400 each.
