$14 · DiverseFutures: Paid Employment Skills Training

DiverseFutures CareerStart is a full-time 18-week paid employment program for youth and young adults ages 15-30. The program is run by NYSA - Comox Valley. It provides 5 weeks of paid employment skills training at BC minimum wage. Training includes free First Aid (OFA1 + CPRC + Transportation Endorsement), FoodSafe, Serving it Right, SuperHost, WHMIS, Barista, Cashier Basics and other certificates. WE secure work experience positions leading to full-time employment for the remaining weeks. The program begins on August 17th. Info Session on August 7th at 1 p.m. (300 Old Island Highway).
