This is a fresh rebuild and not a mile on it. The cam is a hydraulic 264 Isky (0.525 lift), ARP rod bolts, moly rings gapped to 0.018". The crank is turned 0.010 for both the rods and mains, brass frost plugs, true double roller timing chain, high volume Melling oil pump, baffled oil pan, Torker aluminum intake. Notice the lifter valley, it (along with the outside of the block) has been gone over with carbide bits to remove all the factory 'slag' which improves the outside appearance, and the oil drain back inside. In other words attention to detail, not just slapped together. Also, there are 4 coats of acrylic enamel, with high temp primer underneath, not a rattle can delivering paint less than the thickness of a sheet of paper. The oiling has been completely worked so the rear main cannot be starved, which these engines are notorious for at higher RPMs. This is the same build as the Cleveland I built for my Mach 1 that used to hit 6000rpm every race and never a problem. The improved oiling system delivers 75-80 pounds pressure with just a hand drill. The heads are open chamber and as you can see by the photos they have been port matched and ported right from the underside of the valves all the way to the end of the exhaust runners.
