I'm a very serious buyer of old photographs depicting scenes and buildings on Vancouver Island dating before about the mid 1930s. The larger the photos are, the more interesting. In particular, I'm looking for early views of streets showing fronts of stores, mining photos, early logging photos, closeup views of old buses and trains, train station photos, early Cumberland and other Chinese communities, photos showing old navy sailing ships. If your photographs are from somewhere other than Vancouver Island, I could be interested in them, too !! I'm also interested in early postcards (pre WW2) from Canada, England (and elsewhere in the British Isles and Ireland), and from small countries and old colonies elsewhere in the world.
