Laurie's Place in Merville, BC is at the centre of North Island and offers shuttle service for pickup, whether it is meeting a ferry or float plane, or picking up and dropping off in the Comox Valley -Campbell River areas. When you board your parrot, no matter how small or large, we provide sparkling clean cages cleaned to veterinarian specifications and we are insured. We feed fresh food daily and offer high quality seed, nuts and provide Zupreme pellets. We make birdie breads and cobblers, chop and many other nutritious offerings with lots of clean water daily. When you board your parrot with us at any one location, our WHOLE TEAM is there for your parrot in case of emergency as backup. We each board a small number of parrots, sometimes different species, in each of our locations. We are parrot owners and have experience - we are active in the parrot community and offer assistance whenever it is needed. We have large cages and can accommodate budgies to macaws. We have been in operation since 2014. At all of our sites, your parrots live among us. Our four "high touch" sites are insured and staffed with highly-trained parrot handlers. We also offer shuttle service. We will win you over with our passion which makes our locations your parrot's best destination while you are away. Parrots ARE EXCITED to arrive!
