In a rut? Like to play a lick or 2 or chords but don't have time for formal lessons?
Pretty cool guitar, sounds great AND it's a superb learning tool. Few dings but nothing terrible. Vintage cherry burst. Good looking, very well built guitar that sounds great. Good as a Mexi Strat. This F-200 guitar was built in Korea and many feel they are superior to Chinese made instruments. A passive Shadow (made in Germany) acoustic bridge was installed with a seperate jack mounted on the pickguard so that both acoustic and electric pickups can be used at the same or separately as you like. The acoustic bridge/pickups are passive & sound best used with a pre-amp (any stompbox works well depending on your style/needs .. a cheap Danelectro EQ would be my first choice) when played live but are fine without it for recording. It functions in every way like a normal guitar but you can turn on the lights to use for learning/practice when you choose.
This is a great guitar for the new player to those wanting to fast track learning new scales/chords or anyone at any skill level wanting an instant reference for chords/scales etc.... I've read there were only 3000 of these made and I believe the only way to buy any new Fretlight is online from the states which of course means shipping and duty.
Check Youtube for a demo. In a nutshell, you can select any chord/scale/note in any key and it will instantly light up on the fretboard. Newer models are USB & great if you want to be connected to a computer but not so hot for live jamming/play. This model comes with a seperate power supply so just plug in and play.

So you can set it to show all of the Ab notes in the Dorian scale. Or you can set it to show all of the Blues scale in the key of D ..and so on.
