Outside Comox Valley
Car is a 1982 (what they call a 3rd gen) Car was set up for 1/4 mile stock runs, Motor is a balanced and blue printred high output 305 (5.0 Litre) bored out .30 over. It has an upgraded cam and pistons as well. Other than the K air filter the engine looks completely stock. Once you put the hammer down though you get the sound of the lumpy cam and 4 barrel carb opening up, she picks up RPM's really quick! Trans. is a turbo 350 with a very nice shift kit. Exhaust is only 4 yrs old, and sounds really nice cruising down the highway with the T-TOPS off !!
Has new alt. and water pump and I Just did the brakes, although it does need rotors in the front. I usually just downshift when I am slowing down and with the shift kit it downshifts like a standard. You can chirp the tires either accelerating, or decelerating...lol
Here is what it still needs...
Front rotors... both inside door handles are broken, I have 1 new one to put in, but until then I have to use the power window and open it from the outside... Drivers door needs a hinge pin installed I have 1 for it..It still works, but you can tell it is due for a new pin. Overall the interior is in decent shape for a 29 yr old car! It could definitely use a headliner, The drivers seat shows it's age a bit, but other than that it is pretty decent. It has a medium crack in the front windshield, doesn't really hamper your vision though...the car itself has only 173,000 original miles on it. It has a nice system in it, it plays mp3's, has input for your ipod or whatever, and plays on a USB stick as well. There is a sub and amp that I could leave in the car for $250, if not, it is wired for 1.
